Re: Art Museum tour of Korean Moon jar exhibit and fabulous textile Exhibit

Hi all, Sending an update for the April 8 free day at Denver Art Museum. Barb is willing to give another a tour of the Korean Moon Jar (white ceramics) exhibit in the Hamilton building. I will unfortunately not be able to attend this time.?
?
Six people have responded yes: Christine, Martin, Yosi & Rivka, Judy and Bob. There are still 6 slots open. If you want to attend (or need to cancel), let Barb know right away.

Friday Rally Departure time change

I am sorry, but I am seeing info that there will be choral singing presentations
before the speeches tomorrow for the Bernie - AOC headlined rally at Civic Center.
This probably will attract more people at earlier times. If it is not inconvenient,?
let's try to leave ZCD at 3 pm (as Bill originally recommended) instead of 3:20 pm
Please communicate concerns or caveats. BK

Re: Billy's Book Signing

I will be heading down about 5:00 and meeting at Pepper Asian Bistro (2831 East Colfax)??
I believe it is fast casual so you can come and join if you like.

Re: Friday - March 21 - 5 pm - Civic Center - Democratic Political Rally Speeches - Show Support!

WIth admission at 4 pm and rally speakers starting at 5 pm, I think gathering at ZCD?
to depart at 3:20 pm will be good. While Unitarians are great activists, it probably?
would add uncertainties to meet & greet at their church or our temple on this congested
Friday afternoon. I think we may be looking at 3,000 - 6,000 participants for these
nationally prominent headliners, so it will be a treat to go as a ZCD team. BK

Prison Dharma

Our ZCD Prison Dharma Group continues to visit men incarcerated at FCI in Englewood. I would like to offer another means to connect with incarcerated men and women through this Zen Peacemaker Group. Please contact me if you have questions.

Letter Writing Campaign

Compassion Prison Project has been told by several prison residents that nothing brightens their day more than hearing their name called during mail call.

They have also heard from letter writers on the outside that their lives have been deeply enriched by the relationships they’ve cultivated with the incarcerated men and women with whom they communicate. Expressive writing can be therapeutic and healing and can also cultivate a sense of belonging and connection.

CPP is always looking for volunteers to join their letter writing campaign. Please and let them know that you’d like to write to someone living in a prison.

CPP is a grassroots, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

May we fulfill our vows to free and save all sentient beings.

Hi David,
I could potentially give a small but steady amount of garden produce from late July through late September possibly into late October depending on weather. ?My difficulty is transportation. ?Making it all the way into Denver regularly is not feasible for me, but if anyone lives in the south east metro area who can go to ZCD regularly I could potentially drive the produce to your house weekly or every other week during that time for a handoff. ?I live a short distance outside of Parker. ?Thanks!
Bill M.
