Eve Marko is ¡°provocative and amazing,¡± indeed, David! She comes across as being very authentic and down to earth. I feel very lucky to have her as one of the core teachers in the Zen Peacemaker Order program I am pursuing. This series looks very interesting and I encourage everyone to check out the offerings through ZPI online:?

Please consider serving meals at Samaritan House shelter for the homeless

Based on our Groups.io preference poll of likely participants, we will support Downtown Samaritan House shelter occasionally.
For Fri. eve., Nov. 15, there currently are three openings for family cafeteria servers (upstairs), and one Holy Rosary?Dinner
server (single women, groundfloor). After you sign up for one of these at https://ccdenver.org/denver-samaritan-house/
please post a note here on groups.io or email me directly so we know who is participating. Observe that the format of the
Samaritan House website has changed and you may need to re-register with them. More events are listed, so additional
scrolling may be required to find a particular date and event. There is not a meal checker?position listed, but that task may
be included in the three sign ups for the upstairs family meal service. Wear comfortable shoes to stand and serve from
4:45 - 6 pm (Holy Rosary) or 4:15 - 7:15 pm (families upstairs). Parking is available near the entrance doors at?
2301 Lawrence St, Denver, CO 80205.? ?Please contact?knott.bob@... with questions.?

Dear members.

I am happy to let you know about the new website?
It contains information about all the mythical, Indian, Chinese and Japanese Zen Women Ancestors ('the circle') as mentioned in the document, established by the Soto Zen Buddhist Association in 2010. The heart of the site are the life stories from all these women. There is a page with literature about the female ancestors as well. Also included is the ink drawing of Kannon by Ekyo Maezumi (on this page?), with permission from her children.

Hopefully?this might inspire people in our times and will contribute in acknowledging these women of?the past.

Warm regards,
In gassho,

Ineke Konin Vogel
