Dear Sangha;

As we head into 2025, Martin and I will be sharing Gathas from a wonderful collection by Thích Nh?t H?nh, Present Moment Wonderful Moment. Gatha comes from “a Sanskrit word meaning a verse of poetry." We offer these as part of a Mindfulness practice.

From the forward of Present Moment Wonderful Moment, Sister Chan Duc writes: “We entrust [the gathas] to memory so that they can arise without effort as we go about our daily tasks in order to stay with what we are doing.”

This collection of Gathas can be used as you complete daily tasks: getting up, brushing teeth,?turning on the light, and on and on; always returning and dwelling within the present moment.

Happy New Year!

Gassho, Connie and Martin

I have these people signed up? for the tour at 10:30 on the 14th. I will meet you in the lobby of the castle Building- which is the Martin Building. You will have to check in I think and get a sticker at the membership desk.. It is a free day so there is no charge. The galleries are really tiny so we cant take any more than 12 and it will be a bit crowded..? We can do lunch afterwards in the museum restaurant or at the art Hotel.? If you think you might want to stay please let me know and I will make a reservation.? These are the people currently signed up.
Christine, Bill, Jim Long, Jennifer, Martin and his wife, Kimberly, Merilee, Nick and wife, Bob knott, David V.b., NIna.?
Please let me know if you need to cancel. You can park on the street or in the garage with an entrance on 13th .?
