Thanks to all of you for your commitment to practice during this difficult time! ?I believe that, together, we are doing the bodhisattva¡¯s work not only by supporting each other in our Zoom sessions but, in the same measure, for the whole of our suffering planet. ?Metta to you and you loved ones! ?Two things to share:
- Friday Mindfulness Exercise: ?Laura Menzer (our fearless Friday leader) said, ¡°This exercise is a good one to have for these extra 2 weeks when we are not having Friday morning sittings¡±-?Water:? Open your awareness to water, in all its forms, both inside and outside of your body and dwelling.? Become aware of liquidity, in food, drinks, and in your environment. ?This one remind¡¯s me of my all-time favorite gatha by Thich Nhat Hanh on water:?
"Turning on the Water"
Water comes from high mountain sources.
Water runs deep in the Earth.
Miraculously, water comes to us and sustains all life.?
My gratitude is filled to the brim.
