Looks like it's on Amazon music as well. That track list looks
spectacularly wrong! Although I didn't listen (I don't do streaming
music...) but the track timings line up with your descriptions
(e.g., track 1 is 2:07 - enough for a drum solo, but not for Elegant
People). I might be tempted for a cheap CD, but not ?7.89 for an MP3
download.

...hi Guys,?
?
...just noticed another 'Live' Weather Report Album on iTunes
?
Weather Report - New York 1976 ( Live )
?
Firstly, the track listing is completely wrong...
- the listing follows a typical set list from '76 with Jaco,
but the actual tracks run as follows
?
Track
1 is Drum Solo and is prob Alex Acuna (not Peter Erskine re
album cover pic)
?
Track
2 is Percussion Duet Alex Acuna & Monolo Bedrana
?
Track
3 is Joe Zawinul & Wayne Shorter dueting into an early jam
on the Birdland Motif - Bedrana plays the Harmonica, into Dr
Honorus Causa - Directions
?
Track
4 - Blackthorn Rose (Joe Zawinul & Wayne Shorter
improvised duet)?
?
Track
5 - Gibraltar
?
Track
6 - Birdland (?) They were not playing this in 1976, well not
when I saw them in London in July of that year...so I think
this is from 1977 or maybe later, there is no percussionist on
this track, so it's from a different gig...probably with Peter
Erskine??
?
Track
7 - Elegant People ( with radio announcement ?? )
?
Track
8 - Scarlet Woman
?
Track
9 - Barbary Coast?
?
Track
10 - Potrait Of Tracy (Jaco Padtorius solo)?
?
Track
11 - Cannonball - Black Market ( with Wayne playing Lyricon
towards the end - it sounds pre-Montreux Jazz Fest
Switzerland, to me, I take it that most fans have seen that
Vid
?
It
is mostly from a mixing desk, not an audience recording, but
it sounds like maybe three different gigs to me - can anyone
else identify this for sure?? there is a radio id at the very
beginning of the track of Elegant People -but most of it
sounds too raw to be a radio broadcast???
?
Any
comments gratefully received -is there anyone on the air, is
there ...anyone !
?
best
wishes
