?Does anybody know how to do this? I’ve decided; I’m going to learn.
There is a sharp needle with a tiny latch hook on the other end that some use for reweaving.
Any ideas where to buy one?

I ran across this a while back - probably not what you have in mind, but I'm curious.

Connie, I thought I remembered that Lacis sold one, and indeed a couple of other vendors carry theirs. Looks like Clover makes them too.

Therese I haven’t found a pic that shows the needle point on the Lacis one
?I’ve found some that are ball point. ?The Clover are ball point. ? Not what I want. ?

Hi Connie!? I'm way behind on reading messages, but just saw this thread and it rang a bell with me.
The Fruitty Knitting Vlog, episode 111, featured an interview with Flora Collingwood-Norris who does exuberant mending of knitwear.? The results are cheerful and adds so much to each piece.
The examples of her mending begins at around 41:58.?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jC2A1TBNOJ4
Not sure if you watch this Vlog, but it has excellent content, although the presenter, Andrea, is struggling a bit b/c she lost her husband this year.
Meanwhile,? my DIL is within a day of her first child's due date.? It's crazy around here with excitement.
Very happy to learn about your move!!!

The video I sent is the only kind of mending I could accomplish!

Connie,?
Did you see this video as well?? Demonstrates how to do that weaving (I always thought this was French re-weaving, but it's all the same thing) without a specialty needle.? Ingenious.

Yup! ? I’ve watched everything I can find on “invisible weaving,” “Reweaving,” and “French Weaving.”
All the same end result. ?
