Re: Latest Ravelry kerfuffle
The issues people had were not minor, if you believe them. I believe there
were some who had serious issues and many people who had eyestrain. The
issues were severe migraines and potentially seizures

Re: Latest Ravelry kerfuffle
Alas I think all of what Melisande said is true - as we keep saying at work, it¡¯s a ¡°yes,
and¡± situation. Which makes it even harder to fix.
On a happier note, Therese, I just made your mom¡¯s

Re: Latest Ravelry kerfuffle
As far as I can tell from my sporadic wading into the fray, the new site design violated a lot of accessibility guidelines that are pretty well accepted for web design, including some that things that

Amy¡¯s synopsis sounds about right from my arm chair.
Ravelry definitely did not do the redesign with accessibility as a key priority. My work just went through a big web project and we need to

I was curious, too, so thanks from me, too.? I thought it might be something like that.? I initially didn't like the "new" Rav, but with the tweaks they've made, it's growing on me.? Sounds like

Thanks Amy, that helps. Yes, I read Jess's letter, that's why I asked.
Haven't seen Rosemary's posts on IG, I'll go look...I guess.
Surely people had problems with the old design as well? I have no

Re: Latest Ravelry kerfuffle
The redesign - which, as I recall, none of us really cared for - has caused issues for some users - reports are of seizures, migraines, eye strain. Cassidy did not respond in a way that in inspired

Is any of you following this latest Ravelry mess closely? So that you can

Re: lawn mowing
We told our guy not to come every week when it is so hot and dry. The grass
needs to be longer to not burn up. He now comes every other week. But yes.
Our guy also comes late morning in the heat.
