Yes, lots of changes of plans here. I rescheduled my rheumatologist appt to late April. I moved my dental cleaning and the first appt I could get was late June! But I took it because I really don’t think I should be going to medical offices where people are coming and going.
My dad’s crown replacement surgery has been put off on the dentist’s recommendation.
My classes are all on hold. My RHL is therefore stuck at my friend’s house - she borrowed it for the class.?
We just went and stocked up frozen vegetables, eggs, and a few other things so we are set with meals for at least 2 weeks. i expect to run out and buy stuff like cilantro or ginger (which I forgot today) but otherwise we are good.?
I am having a ball spinning and knitting. Those of you on IG or watching friends’ photos on Ravelry will have been seeing some of this. I will be weaving the fabric for my summer hemp top later today. It is a long piece so will take a while. I hope to also wind a warp for a plain weave scarf that I’ll put on the Baby Wolf because the RHL is unavailable.?

Our governor has asked all non-essential businesses (like gyms, spas, hair places, etc.) to close. State-run liquor stores are closed. Restaurants are drive through/delivery/pick-up only, no eat in. I cannot believe the selfishness of people who will insist on “life as usual” since it’s more about spreading the virus than it is about catching it. Yes, I’m overreacting, and if nothing happens, that was sort of the point, wasn’t it. Several local golf courses announced that they will NOT close.

I am NOT sharing this with the group I initially intended. Since I started typing two of the members of that group have announced that they are getting their scheduled manicures today, because they want to.

I am shaking my head in disbelief. Both of them are over retirement age.
