I have sorted all my fiber magazines to get rid of, one way or another. ?I found that one friend’s daughter is now knitting, so she will get some of ?the knitting mags. I’ve told her she can recycle/sell/donate whatever she doesn’t want. ?One of Maura’s early schoolmates taught herself to spin and recently bought her first wheel, and she is thrilled for me to send old Spin Off magazines.?

Jaya, I have been doing much the same with books. Culling through the fiber books and cookbooks that don't get used and could be by others. Having said that, if you still wanted to sell your HF Tweedie kit, that is something I would use when I make the move to Colorado.

Amy, I still spin a lot but I am either using my Hansens or spindles. I also have a charkha I pull out periodically. I don't need the money but I'm also in a decluttering mood. The pandemic and the Surfside building collapse have made me more aware of my mortality and I want to make things easier on my kids. So whatever I feel I don't plan to make or use is going. I sold 2 Bohus kits but I have two more I want to knit. I put my Hanne Falkenbergs on sale but no takers. I guess I'll be making them at some point. I could make them or leave them - rather neutral about them. The Bohus kits on the other hand sold in less than a day.
I also gave away the samples of Shetland that we put together so many years ago via Two Swans Yarns and the ones Connie's mom put together. I am not going to use them and one of the Warped Weavers members is getting into fair isle. She'll use them so I sent them on to her.
All this brought back lots of memories.

She wanted a birds-eye maple Tina II so was willing to pay me what I wanted for it, which was well above the going rate for the cherry ones and also because I had more whorls, bobbins and extras like a spare scotch tension peg.?
I learned about the Tina II from this group and when I went back to look at when I had bought it, I realized how many of us had bought Tina II's in that timeframe.?
I loved that wheel. It was so beautiful. But when I went to spin, I almost always was spinning on a spindle or my Hansens. So it was better that the wheel went to someone who would use it. I was surprised by how many people contacted me after I posted that I had a birds-eye maple Tina II in the Jensen group. I didn't even actually say that I was ready to sell it. I just replied to her post where she asked if anyone had one and my location. I was also lucky that I found a great packing and shipping place because a condition of the sale for me was that she would pay for professional packing and shipping. No, it was not my friendly neighborhood UPS store but an independent POC-owned business that is a bit further away. They did a fantastic job per the buyer.
