Yes, I'm using Mountain Colors Bearfoot, which is grabby but I think I will do the same. It is more rhythmic to do it that way and as you say, it keeps the reverse looking neat and there is nothing to snag on things.?

I can’t remember, and can’t check because I don’t have it at home. From the photo I think you’re right.? It makes sense to keep the floats short so they don’t catch on stuff. I searched for and found Steph’s video on how to do the colorwork while knitting left to right to avoid 2-color purling and am going to teach myself this technique. My goal is to have it done by Winter Solstice this year!? It is going to be gigantic I think.
