YRC Boathousekeeping -- oars and towels
Yankee Rowers,? A week or two ago, someone took a number of the club towels from the boathouse? (probably to wash them). Please return them to the boathouse.? Thanks very much. Best, Ernie? |
Well, I'm embarrassed to say those were my oars. I had cartopped my boat to row elsewhere in the morning and came back late in the day. I was pooped. I forgot that I had just placed my oars on the floor near where I store them (where my index card clearly marks my spot) because I needed to add the covers to my grips before placing them on my rack. Once I got my boat put away, I locked up the boathouse and left, and totally forgot to attend to my oars and place them back on my rack, which is on the other side of the Maas. I'll be able to head over today and place them where they belong. So many apologies to all. Nancy PS The blades are actually not worn from any kind of neglect--I'm in the process of sanding (status now) and repainting them (to be done). 开云体育Thanks Nancy! I can attest to your index cards marking your oars’ rack, which have your artists’ touch!Anita Fábos +1-413-230-6223 anita.fabos@...

开云体育Nancy, I am SO relieved to know that your oars are not shabby- looking from neglect; rather, in a velveteen rabbit kind of way, they are showing the worn facade of having been so well-loved ???On Sep 16, 2024, at 12:25?PM, Anita Fabos via groups.io <anita.fabos@...> wrote:
