Hello! We hope that you have all had a healthy winter.? As we welcome the warmer temperatures, melting snow, and get excited about the start of the rowing season, it is time for the club's annual meeting.?? Please join the Board of Directors on Tuesday, March 18th at 7:00 PM via Zoom (see link below and will be sent again just in advance of the meeting).? During the meeting, we?will go over the status of the club, our membership, and other salient topics for YRC.? We look forward to seeing all who are able to join.? We are equally excited that the start of the season is getting closer and that we will soon have the opportunity to catch up in person.?? Be well,? 开云体育Thanks Jamie and Anita! ? From time to time I have explored the matter of a more entry-to-mid-level double, for training, recreational rowing and the like. Such a boat would also take the pinch off the racing double we have. ? They also provide a rougher water option. ? I think Eric has had Explorer boats from Wintech if I recall correctly. I rowed the single years ago in the early am rec-Charles and liked it well. ? ? I think it is worth considering as a next step, as it allows members of varying abilities to row together, support each other and build our community. ? I have not seen other of this ilk. Although perhaps ...? This might be an option. ? My view is that we need a double more akin to the ?Aero than to the Alden. ? Should be stored inside probably, or well covered. ? If possible this can come up Tuesday evening? I have not explored the used inventory possibilities. ? Best Wishes ? Jonathan ?
