Welcome to Spring, Yankee Rowers!!
Please join us next Saturday, May 4th 9-11am, for the first social event of the season - the Spring Boathouse Cleanup! We’ll wash the boats, shake out the spider webs, scrub out the bathrooms and get the floors gleaming, and windows sparkling! Catch up with your rowing friends, and maybe meet some new ones! Bagels and coffee will be provided - feel free to bring a snack/beverage to share. If you have a vacuum with dusting attachments, and don’t mind it getting a little dirty, we could use 1 or 2 to expedite the cleaning process.
If you’re unable to make it for this date, but would like to contribute your cleaning skills BEFORE May 4th, there is a signup sheet on the Sheets reservation app (at the bottom of the reservations page, see the ‘Boathouse cleanup’ tab next to the Heavyweight boat and Lightweight Boat tabs). There will also be a Hardcopy of the ‘To-Do’ list on the desk next to the logbook. Please initial the task(s) you have completed - on either the sheets page or the paper page.
If it’s raining on the 4th, We’ll try for the 5th. Check your e-mail for any last-minute changes.
Hope to see y’all soon!

It is wonderful to finally welcome the 2024 season.
For the cleanup to take place, we need to ask Gary to turn on the water for the boathouse? - Craig and Ernie, is that something you could take care of?
Thanks,

Hi all. I had a mountain biking accident last week and fractured my wrist badly. Had surgery yesterday in Boston and will not be rowing for several months at least. I will leave my boat wrapped in the boathouse and may show up for the workday but will be pretty useless. I imagine, I can’t even tell you how bummed I am about missing Rowing season but I will be back. Sally Sally Linowski

Hello friends,
We have the 5 and 7 year old grand children from Friday at 4 until Sunday at 6. Everything from morning t-ball to the Symphony on the docket.
If I could take a bye this time and catch up mid season that would be great. Was out today for a first cruise in Hunky Dory II and came back dry. You are the best, my friends.

If you want to leave the men's bath for me I will be happy to scrub it Monday.
Can the appliances and vacuum be stored elsewhere?
