Precautions for hurricane Henri


 

Ernie and I have moved the double from the outdoor rack to slings in the boathouse.
I also ran some line around all the boats remaining on the outside rack to be sure they don't
slide (get blown) off the horizontal rods that support them. I think there is *very little
risk* of any damage to boats on the outdoor rack, but it was easy to take some defensive
steps.

Judging from weather and river forecasts, it looks as if you don't want to row tomorrow
(wind, rain) or Monday (current). Ernie and I will restore everything to normal positions
late Monday.
