in the hose for washing boats. And although it will of course subside, the
river is too high at the moment.

Craig went to the race and arranged transfer of the shell to the Fluid tent, then back to the UMASS trailer the next day.? The Fluid 2X is fully repaired and back home.? All at no expense to Yankee.

It got quite chilly last night, and this morning there was frost on the dock and on the wooden ramp going down to the dock. It was quite slippery in places. So, as it gets colder in the coming days, please be extra careful using the ramp and dock. (The hardtop portion of the ramp doesn't get frost as readily. So, when there is frost on the ramp, it may be a bit safer to use the hardtop going down to the dock.)

Several of the boathouse towels have been missing for a while. (Perhaps some one took them home

August 23, I was given an anterior left hip replacement, which is supposed to have the quickest recovery of the various methods. New England Baptist has hip replacements down as smoothly as a Ford assembly line. I was on my way home 22 hours after the operation and walking around and climbing stairs without a cane in 6 weeks. Should be ready to row next spring. Life is grand.
