Re: Clubhouse door spring broken
untape it, open it and leave it open until you come back.? Close it, and put the tape back, so people know not to keep opening and closing all day long. Near the table with the sign out sheet there is a quick switch behind the aluminum door channel. Better than taping and retaping...? Go!? ?craig

Clubhouse door spring broken
The boathouse door spring is broken. On Friday, if you go out, please leave the door open. I will be around to finish working on the double and their is no problem with theft. Gary is having it fixed as soon as possible. It might even be done today if they can find a spring... Once again, just open the door and leave it open. I'll be coming down later. Also, after rowing, if a couple of people could re-rack the double that would be helpful. Thank You, ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Craig |

Update: Amherst Public Health Warning Has Ended
The Town of Amherst?sewer discharge/overflow ended on Friday evening. So, it sounds like it should be ok to row on Monday morning. (See below.)Best,Ernie ?Sewage Discharge Into Mill River.?Public Health Warning Has Ended A sanitary sewer discharge/overflow occurred on September 29 ?at 5:45 p.m. at the Amherst Waste Water Treatment Facility at 100 Mullins Way, Hadley MA, and flowed into the Mill River East of Route 116 in Hadley. The discharge/overflow ceased on September 29, 2023 at 7:10 p.m. Approximately 500,000 to 750,000 gallons of sanitary sewage discharged/overflowed during the event. This discharge did not impact the safety of Amherst’s drinking water. The discharge/overflow consisted of untreated sewage and waste. The town recommends that the public avoid contact with the affected water body for at least 48 hours after the discharge/overflow ceases due to increased health risks from bacteria and other pollutants. See the town website at??for further information on whether specific resource areas, such as bathing beaches, are affected. |
Re: Amherst Sewer Discharge
