Re: Yankee Boat House Clean Up - Invitation to edit
Well, I take it back about the?GoogleSheet.? I need to know everyone's email address to give you access.? So someone with that knowledge, such as whomever, sets up the boat sign up, might be able to help.? However at this point, perhaps Nancy's email has succeeded with organizing the job sign up thread.
Cheers, Amy

Hi Ernie, Indeed, & as per all the other threads, the oars are Ellen & mine, they go with the little river marine regatta shell that is on the floor under the racked Mass’, that Jonathan sold to us last summer, I believe on behalf of Laura Price (& hence the LP on them). We’re out of town til early June but will label the oars & oar rack as soon as we return ??.
Thanks! - Mark (& Ellen)

Re: Boathouse Opening!! Spring cleanup
Wow! Such enthusiasm!! Amy Rhodes Has volunteered to make up a sign-up sheet for the cleaning duties, similar to our sign-up sheet for the boats. This will help defray the confusion of who is doing what. Thank you, Amy! And thank you all for your enthusiasm!

With the opening of the boathouse, comes one of our favorite rites of spring… the Spring Boathouse Cleanup! For those of you who are new to the club, the spring cleanup has historically, been a fun, social way of ‘launching’ our season.
Covid has changed the rules for us somewhat in the past year, and this year we are going to abide by those changes again, and slightly downplay the social part of the ritual. But the FUN still remains, for our adventuresome souls who seek it!
Let’s make the dates for the cleanup begin on Weds. May 12, and continue to the 23rd, to allow for weather and schedules….
Below is a list of ’tasks’ that need to be done. We ask that members volunteer to take on a task, and then, after completing the task, sign off on the “ Master List” that will be by the log book (just initial it/check it off, whatever floats your boat ?).
To make the boat-washing more ‘user friendly’, the club boats have been divided up into 4 groups. Each group will require 2 people to volunteer (see - here’s the ’social’ part!) - ideally. Especially group ‘D’ with the Fluid Double. There are some cleaning materials underneath the log book table - feel free to bring your own environmentally friendly cleaners.

I'd like to be part of Group C: Peinert #6 & #9. I'm assuming that once we know who else is in that "group" we can text/email amongst ourselves to work out when we'll do it.

Hello Yankee Rowers!

Re: Boathouse Opening!! Spring cleanup
I'll join Anita in cleaning the windows (not necessarily at the same time)--we did it together last year and it seems like a job for two rather than just one. If that's not okay, just let me know and I'll take another task. Nancy
