CS-80 running temperature issue....
Hi again guys.
I have made a stand from 12 mill plywood that runs around the sides and back of my 80 and has two shelves for some of my other gear. My question is, although there is space ABOVE the vent slots on the left hand side (power suppy)- a good 4 inches, because it has been 'walled in' so to speak, it gets quite warm in there. How much ventilation does an 80 require, and if it IS slightly restricted might that improve the tuning stability? I could always install a small fan to blow the hot air away if need be. Cheers. I've been thinking about building something similar, so I'd like to see what other people have done. What are other people using, other than the Yamaha stand? David |
