I don't have a CS80 service manual, but
the SM for the CS50 and the one for the CS60 show for all region
specific variations of the powerswitch a switch with integrated
light, while the european version has a switch without a light.
The partslist even mentions three different types of switches:
"Japanese", "Ather" (which means assumingly "Other"), and
European.

Hi Richard.?
From what I’ve seen, the narrow, black switch is on the US
version and the square white on the UK/European version.? I’m
sure there’s some experts here with more info.?

?Does anybody know the history of the CS-80
power switch?? Mine has a narrow black rocker switch with an
integrated light.? However, I've seen many pictures of other
CS-80's (and 60's and 50's) with a square-ish white rocker
switch and separate light.? I'm wondering if the style
changed sometime during production, or if these were
different for 110/220 units.? Just curious.
