Please find attached a paper I pulled together to discuss the problem with some early serial numbers of the CS-80 that had a problem with pitch shifting when holding low notes and then playing high notes..
The issue was discussed in Yamaha Service Bulletin 096, but the modification I propose addresses the root cause which the mods in SB 096, while worthy, do not.
