The L/R balance on my CS-80 is equal like it should on any stereo keyboard. You can try checking the high/low output selector switch.
It may collect dust or get corrosion which may affect the output balance.

Hope this message finds everyone well. I've gotten my CS-80 back from servicing recently, beyond excited. She's never functioned properly as long as I've owned her so I can't be certain, but the stereo L+R output seems unusually imbalanced (there's a 8-12dB difference between the two). My tech is occupied at the moment and not currently available for a follow-up, so I thought I would check with the community here. For those of you who have fully working CS-80s, what's does the proper/normal stereo balance look and sound like?
