You need an oscilloscope and the ability to handle the scope and the ability to read schematics and pcb layouts.
To be honest: As long as you are not an "electronics guy" the chances that you will destroy your CS are bigger than the chances that you will repair it.
Just as simple example: one mounting rail of the cards runs supply voltage. If you get the wrong contact between a device in the synth and this mounting rail, you may blow a lot of things...

How do I measure the LFO IG00150 chip to see if its good or bad? Mind you, I am not an electronics guy so I would need detailed instructions. I don't have a technician anywhere near where I live so trying to do this solo.
