that's good... then I 'd first do a swap from another voice of your synth, since you already have confirmation of those that still work.
Then, you'll know if buying another chip will for sure fix it.

would your vco chip be the more stable version or the original?? I had to add a diode for the newer IG00153 vco chips when I upgraded? all 16 m boards... can the older be dropped in (I have 2 spare cards) or do I have to remove the extra components?
