I have used the Vertex/Standard att0274.exe and it works fine, with
two prerequisites. No Windows, must be DOS. And no virtual USB
comports. Must be a physical RS-232 com port.? I personally would
use the overwrite included with the .exe utility.? I've only run
into a half dozen or so "export" motherboards over the years, and
never had any problem using the DOS utility to rewrite the table.
Well...maybe a little nervous on the first one!

has the mars mod, I know of an executable file under the old DOS
operating system that seems to update the band table in the
eprom but I have my doubts about using it. Do you know if the
920 stores this data in one of the 2 external eproms or in the
cpu itself (MB90P263), perhaps I could copy its data and rewrite
