The radio receives just fine, but when I try to transmit, an ERROR message shows up in the display, preventing the radio from transmitting.
SSB, or MOX, the ERROR diagnostic message appears. I have performed the various resets suggested in the manual, including the hard-reset.
The battery is good, and no other issues are apparent.
FYI transmitting is in the authorized ham bands. Help! Kind regards, Christopher

You get your radio back to default parameters. Maybe there is a setting that you made and forgot which one is.
