Well just lets follow the the request from Rex, I'm Kees (in a call pronounce it as a case in a court of law), PA1CJT, located in a small town near The Hague in the western part of the Netherlands. I purchased my FT-301 (analog) just recently due to the fact that my eyes getting worse and als SMD parts are getting to small for me hi. I own the FR-301 and also the FT-221 (looking nice next to each other) and also 3 FT-7(B) radio's and a FT-225RD. All with normal components so that I will be able to do some repair work what I never did before. I could be a frequently asker here.
The FT-301 (I already asked about it here) has one knob which was not fit (tightened) enough so I cannot tell what is 9 o'clock as mentioned in the manual by tuning reception. Perheaps someone can help here. I still have some SMD radio's from Yaesu like the VX-6R, FT-1500M, FT-1900 and I guess some more hi.
