Amp connector pin 4 (tx13.5) goes high to 13.5 volts when attaching a known good amp.
Pin 4 on bad radio measures 45 ohms to ground and on the good radio, it measures 7k ohms to ground.
there is no voltage on pin 4 with the amp disconnected.?
this is causing t/r switch RL1 to energize.
I replaced RL1. that did not correct the problem.
The radio will operate normally with the amp disconnected.
What would cause T/R to go high when connecting the amp???
I have been working on this for days and just can't comprehend why TX would go high.
I should probably look for why I am getting 45 ohms to ground.
has anyone experienced this?
