I would look closely at the VFO/EXT function switch and wiring for continuity. ?

Is anybody familiar with vfo issues with this rig? It doesn't seem reasonable that both vfo's are faulty. The radio seems to function normally otherwise. I am unable to hear the vfo working on a receiver with a test loop or measure any output on a scope.
