I've been working on a 301 that I recently purchased. In nice shape physically, cleaned up really well. Gave it the "deoxit" treatment, now going through some adjustments. First thing I wanted to look at was the band pass filters. I followed the alignment instructions in the manual using a sweep generator / o'scope. Seemed to go okay, but I was curious was the results really looked like. I used a rigol spec. analyzer/tracking generator to sweep the filters and the results initially were okay, but I tweaked them in. It's a lot easier and faster looking at the results in real-time.
