Last time I was in the UK I was working in a funny looking round
building in Cheltenham.
Enjoyed my stay working with scary smart UK chaps.
The FT-301 is well designed.
The ETON Swiss upgrades are wonderful.
The big problem is the crystal filters that are failing and no way
to replace.

it’s a pleasure to be working with proper components again, not
just cubes of plastic SMDs.
My set is not quite a basket case but will need a compliant
realignment .
