next beta build#188 of YAAC, created 2023-Sep-22

next beta build#188 of YAAC ("Yet Another APRS Client"), created 2023-Sep-22

downloadable from
or

changes and updates include:
1. fix Check For Updates table to account for plugin loading changes in
build#187.
2. fix bikestats plugin to properly save new column definitions, and
properly label the help appendix.

I appreciate the effort, but no joy.

I looked at the Install Plugins list and it did not show bikestats as installed, so I clicked on the Install button and got an error. See picture.

I looked at About and it shows the bikestats twice. After reboot, it only shows once.

I went into configure and added five columns. The Persist Value boxes are checked. They all disappear on reboot.

After adding the five new columns, they do not show up in the Stations and Objects listing. They used to show up before the upgrade.

When editing the filter, any changes made in Station Category or Sender are reset on reboot. The Monitoring Radius does retain its value on reboot.

Thanks for working on it, but don't rush now. I've got to pack it all up now for a departure in about 8 hours.

Upgrade twice. With the broken upgrade table, it won't pick up the fixes to the plugins until you are running YAAC build 188.

Upgraded until it won't upgrade any more. Now, the SO list is retaining the changes in the columns, but is not displaying columns added through configure, and they clear after reboot.

The bikestats shows on the About page, but does not show as installed through the Plugin Install page. Trying to install it again shows the same error.

I moved the bikestats.jar file and rebooted. The bikestats no longer shows up in About and the Statistics tab is gone from Configure. I tried to install bikestats again from the Install Plugins window and get the same error. See install picture. Although it says "failed to install", the bikestats.jar file is present, the Statistics tab is back in configure, and the help file is back.

Sumpin' broke somewhere.
