Did you try the ones from the Xpander User Group newsletter? I think I typed in all of those by hand, and saved them via syses. For some reason, I didn't save them as a bank.

Agreed. The Xpander/M-12 factory patches have to be some of the worst ever and are pretty embarrassing given the power of the synths. There really isn't much out there in terms of downloadable patches

Do you have a manual ? At least you have to enable MIDI sysex in the MIDI page ... MASTER > MIDI > Enables > SYSTEMX Manual page 49/50 receiving and transmitting device should be set to the same MIDI

This was discussed on the forum some time ago. If I remember right, it was a hardware mod to the sample and hold circuits of the multiplexer. And was completelyin theory. I do not know of anyone
