no problem! eventually it would be good to know exactly what the error message really means and if there is truly any real impact to the synth. but as far as I can see and hear from how I know how to use the Xpander, everything works as expected.?

I'm almost certain the BAD RAM message is not something to be worried about. My Xpander gives the same error message, haven't noticed a single issue. The previous owner before me said the same thing.
