The annual conference of the Oregon Association for Talented and Gifted will take place on Saturday, October 26th. 2019 on the beautiful campus of Clackamas Community College, 19600 S Molalla Ave, Oregon City, OR 97045. The conference theme is "Celebrating Neurodiversity" and we are very pleased to announce that the keynote speakers will be Dr. Susan Baum and Dr. Robin Schader. Dr. Baum is the Director of the 2e Center for Research and Professional Development at Bridges Academy, a school for twice-exceptional students.? Dr. Schader holds a Ph.D in Educational Psychology with a Focus on Talent Development and the Role of Parental Influence and serves on the board of directors for Bridges Academy.? Balancing Home and School Dr. Baum and Dr. Schader will each also present a breakout session.? The conference will include breakouts on other topics of interest to educators and parents. You won't want to miss this opportunity to learn from the nation's leading experts! We invite anyone interested in presenting a breakout session for the conference to submit a proposal by going to the and clicking on the Presenter Information and Application link in the Conference Quick Links. The deadline for breakout proposals is August 1st.? Presenters will be notified by August 15th.? Presenters will receive complimentary registration for the entire conference, including lunch. In addition to formal talks, breakout formats may include roundtable discussions, student panels or educator panels and workshops.? Our conferees always appreciate practical presentations with steps that they can implement at home or in school. Breakout presentations should not promote a particular product.
