Navigating through the general settings menu

 

I understand how to switch between editing a setting, and selecting a setting using the function knob and the volume knob. What I don't understand is the rest of the menus.

For example, I press the button and it says general settings menu. I don't know how to navigate the menu from there since there aren't any arrow keys or anything. I have tried to read the manual, but it is unclear and confusing.

So the settings that are not available through the function knob and the volume knob, how do you modify those?
 

Did you already check the "Radioddity extended manual for the Xiegu X6100"? I am not referring to the normal Xiegu manual, but to the 130 pages extended manual produced by Radioddity.

If you click on "GEN", you activate the softkeys that are related to the GENeral menu, such as "Radio Setting1", "Radio Setting2", "Display Setting", "System Setting" and "Memory Edit". You "navigate" by pressing one of those 5 softkeys.

If you click one of the other 5 function-keys "APP", "KEY", "MSG", DFN" or "DFL".you will be faced with different softkey definitions.
 

YouTube also has a couple of good video showing how to go through the key options.
 

I did, but I'm blind and they show those soft keys in a lot of inaccessible images I think. A lot of blind people are using it, but they don't have any type of accessible documentation.

I do know how to locate all the buttons as in the name of them. Do you have a list of these soft keys for the various menus?
 

There are only three menus I believe. So no one has it written down what the function keys do for each menu.
