Hi all. So does the iso on the SD contain both the updated firmware and the base software.? Or is the base uploaded differently.?

I have updated my firmware (a few repeats) which is successful but the base firmware remains corrupted.?

I cant understand. If the firmware updated why doesn't the? base update or over right.? Are they both stored in the MSU ??

I have heard "bootloader" mentioned a few times, what's that ?

The update .img? is base firmware & firmware from the gui? bundled together.

Have you tried going back to V1.1.6. do that.? Where are you getting your firmware from.

The idea of removing battery power is to completely remove power? in case it hangs & can't control via power button.

You do want to do any upgrades with 13.8v psu connected as it recommends.

Are you able to link to the radio over WiFi?? if so, you might be able to manually upload the files per the attached file.? The full thread is somewhere in the Group and someone might be able to fill in the details.??

Base firmware is an internal STM32 MCU firmware. While updating from SD card only MAIN part becomes updated, but it also copy firmware file to the internal storage.
To update BASE you should select "firmware upgrade" from transceiver menu ()
