Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
STOP PRESS. I changed the X6100 WLAN settings to DHCP and found that setting the address in the control software to 192.168.5.25 made it work for a time. The audio cut out after about 20 secs but the

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
I made an error in the gateway IP. It is 192.168.4.1
I entered that and still not working.
The router DHCP has assigned all devices with 192.168.5.xxx
The X6100 shows as 192.168.5.22
I enter these

Re: Modified BASE firmware - rev2
Hi Georgy
Understood. I again tested both of the 1.1.6 versions. There is zero TX output on any mode with both of the 1.1.6 versions you just released. Tested with both GUIs, same results. This was

Re: X6100 RX audio noises
In my case, switching to external power is not giving any significant change to audio signal.
As an attachment I'm sending here two files:
x6100_noise_blank.mp3 - it's a noise recorded from x6100's

Re: X6100 RX audio noises
Same here. Using internal battery means more noise.
External power and the radio goes quiet.

Re: X6100 RX audio noises
While tuning a threshold for TX compressor I noticed, that radio generates more noise, when it powered from the internal battery. It might also affect RX noise. Also TX SNR is quite low - about 35 db

Re: X6100 RX audio noises
Yeah, I¡¯ve also experimented with switching speaker/phone, but results are
still not very satisfying. Especially, when I¡¯m in an environment with low
RF-noise (like in mountains) then this

Re: SD card slot defective
I'm not sure, but perhaps it may be booted from a usb flash drive, connected with adapter to a host port.

Re: X6100 RX audio noises
Hi. I'm using s/p mode set to "speaker" with my headphones (on R1CBU might be inverted, don't remember). With VOL ~10-20 it's comfortable to listening and less internal transceiver noise, in opposite

Re: Connecting Xiegu X6100 with R1CBU to FLRIG 1.1.8 with Linux Mint
I'm using Linux Mint with an X6100 and FLRig, and it's working great (I use the flatpack version - 2.0.05). The PTT is a bit odd. I've taken screen shots of my settings. I checked /etc//udev/rules.d

I'm not sure right now. Logic of changes is pretty straightforward, but searching all locations within compiled OEM firmware to read/write/replace takes many time. Even if 1.1.6 and 1.1.8 only slight

Re: Modified BASE firmware - rev2
Georgy,
this is fantastic! Unfortunately with the x6100 revision I have, there is no transmit power with 1.1.6. I¡¯ve tried every version of the 1.1.6 BBFW and they all have no transmit power output.

Re: Message record
With OEM firmware you can try to fix it with replacing within /etc/init.d/S51amixer
amixer -c 0 sset 'Mic1 Boost',0 0 1> /dev/null
with
amixer -c 0 sset 'Mic1 Boost',0 1 1> /dev/null
This enables mic
