Re: Message record
With OEM firmware you can try to fix it with replacing within /etc/init.d/S51amixer
amixer -c 0 sset 'Mic1 Boost',0 0 1> /dev/null
with
amixer -c 0 sset 'Mic1 Boost',0 1 1> /dev/null
This enables mic

Re: Message record
This is one of the features that are buggy in stock firmware. That's why I've moved to R1CBU/R2RFE firmware, where this message recording works like a charm.

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
Agreed. That will not work. Your x6100 has to be in the same IP range as your router. I highlighted the error in bold in my quote above. Your x6100 might be able use 192.168. *1*.18 if nothing else on

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
Thanks Christian, that is what I used in trying to set it up. The problem is mostly my inexperience in networking? :-(

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
I tried using DHCP and Autoconnect. I think you can't enter the SSID manually - it is entered automatically when you select it from the list of SSIDs and press CONFIG.

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
Yeah that won't work.? Just use DHCP, autoconnect.? Make sure there are no spaces in the SSID, front, middle or back of the SSID.

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
Pretty sure that won¡¯t work. You¡¯ve got a class D IP, with different routing requirements.
192.168.5.18 and 192.168.1.4.
Unfortunately, we can¡¯t see the netmask in the x6100. If it¡¯s

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
Here is how I have tried to configure the X6100 in WLAN settings.
iolar is the SSID of my WiFi (Eero router).
Password is my wifi password.
192.168.5.18 is the X6100 Reserved IP Address I entered into

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
I am totally confused about the X6100 WLAN SETTING. Should I set it up for my WiFi SSID, or for my X6100 SSID (assuming that is labelled ff07ab)?
If the latter do I leave DNS Server box blank?

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
Hi Denis,
You may already know this but I use an IP scanner program to see what IPs
are active on my LAN segments. I've used several but an open source one
that I use often is AngryIP, available

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
I have tried setting my router to 2.4GHz only, but that is not the problem.
In the x6100 WLAN Setting, should I see the X6100, and how is it labelled?? Is it likely to be ff07ab? I only see that and

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
Yes the IP Address I entered is within the range.
Ping is ok with all devices except the omne in question.
arp -a shows the device as (192.168.5.18) at <incomplete> on wlp4s0
But so do several other

Re: Modified BASE firmware - rev1
2 or 3 times I saw no power output on AM - first press - power increases, than decreases, next press - no power. I guess, it's due to ALC working - switching to another mode and back to AM restores

Re: x6100 WFSERVER ip address
WFview works best with an ethernet connection. Use a USB-ethernet adapter (any c-type that say they work with Linux/Raspberry Pi) and then look for that listing on your router. Works like a champ for
