Re: (Official) firmware update to 1.1.9 - severe error (bricked rig?)
#firmware
?Hi,
after several unsuccessful attempts, I -in total distress- just unplugged 12V mains plug during one more attempts to reboot and rebooted the 6100 running on battery.
It worked.

Try to push the power button for 10 seconds or more. This should power off
the radio completely. Then turn it on (without SD card).

Re: X6100 alternative firmware v0.28.0
It's under /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/ on the rootfs (ext4). This partition of SD card is invisible under Windows.

Where are the passwords saved?? Each time I upgrade to the new version, I copy the visible contents of Data but I still have to re-enter the passwords.

I can confirm that Justin (@ratmandu) had a similar issue and was able to
fix his x6100 using the method described by Franco (flashed the decrypted
x6100 firmware to 0x8020000) along with a simple

Is there a chance to enlarge the fonts on this keyboard? For older people, they are almost unreadable.

Re: X6100 alternative firmware v0.28.0
Well, must repeat wifi config after each next SD firmware upgrade. Georgy, maybe add Backup button to webserver page. It would do sth like:
tar -czf /mnt/x6100_r1cbu_private.tgz

Re: X6100 alternative firmware v0.28.0
It's not supported by LVGL default keyboard layout ( https://github.com/lvgl/lvgl/issues/6814 )
As a workaround for wifi connection you can:
* turn on wifi on the radio
* connect to radio with USB
