Re: Waiting For the Possible New X6200 Product?
I always consider the 'value for money' of a purchase. I don't need the best equipment, I need good equipment. I.m.h.o. the Xiegu X6100 has a very good value for money compared to other HF portable

The difference between 10 and 20W on the receiving side will be 0.5 points on the s-meter

Re: GPS and X6100
Roberto, R1CBU's software does support my two GPS pucks. I did a step-by-step write-up a while back describing how I was able to connect them and get the correct GPS time. It is at:

A quick question here... I got a USB GPS antenna from eBay (VFan UG-353), that includes everything on the antenna portion of it. Not the dongle version. I used it to work Winlink (with no internet of

I have no experience with WSPR but if it will run on an Android phone then I don't see why not. The Smart View feature is merely projecting whatever is seen on the cell phone screen to the desktop or

I recall that a ham had inquired Xiegu about CTCSS support.? I understand Xiegu said it was doable, but stopped short of saying whether they would or wouldn't. -- ¡ª73 de Norm AC6DF

Re: FT8CN on the BIG screen
Yes, I saw that FT4 was in the FW and TX was in development. Looking forward to it. The FT8CN app doesn't do FT4 and I don't think there are plans for it. Did I read somewhere that you are developing

Now I already have FT8/FT4 reception in my firmware. I also already made the broadcast and even made a QSO. Will be available in the next version.

FT8CN on the BIG screen
Not sure if anyone here has tried this so I apologize in advance if I'm reinventing the wheel. I've been very successful in using my X6100 with the FT8CN android app and an old Samsung Note 8.
