Re: Total NOOB question
Terry,
There are numerous solutions. I picked up a MicrosoftSurface Go for $100 in Huntsville last August. I use it for my portable ops, logging and digital work. It can be charged of necessary via

Re: Tuning parameters
It depends on the firmware. Mine has the ability to configure for different antennas and then simply switch to the desired antenna without re-tuning.

Re: Tuning parameters
That's correct. Just like on the g90 the radio remembers all your tunes on a particular antenna. If you change antennas then you must do a retune. Also remember that not only do you need to tune on

This is not possible now. I already wrote that all DSP processing occurs in the BB processor. The firmware of which is still closed. There have been works to decompile it, but it seems to me that it

Re: New version 0.19.0
#R1CBU-Firmware
Hi Oleg
I think I know the answer,
Is it possible to do a EQ for the mic input,
As the tx filter is 2.5 cutoff,
I could see this in the SDR RSP Due, or do I have to do some filtering in
the mic

ttyACM1 is the cat control + PTT
and ttyACM0 is for using minicom to login to the x6100.
I used to use flrig and point all my digital apps to use flrig. But lately
flrig hasn't been working too well

If using Linux, the com ports pop up as ACM0 and ACM1, and it always seems to be the highest number ACM.? On split operation, I use fake it instead of none. You can just go with default on all three

Re: New version 0.19.0

Hi Oleg,
Yes it is a shame that FM is not good,
I did have a g90 and when they added FM to it, RX was ok, but FM tx audio
was not great,
With the 6100 tx audio is better than the Rx audio,
Good

Yes, it has arrived. I only tested it for reception, I did not try it for transmission. I plan to do this one of these days. Now I'm stubbornly trying to overcome the problem of loss of sound

Re: Total NOOB question
Go with the radio as is until you’ve had time to become well acquainted
with it. The Xiegu factory GUI is very good. For the most part you will
find it to be a very nice radio and a good value.
