Re: Radioddity Updates

I was frustrated trying to use a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect from my laptop to the X-6100.
There are a lot of current electronics where the manufacturers have not implemented the USB-C interface

I have two configurations. One, simplest, the second with most options.
1. Cable one USB Cable for the USB port on your computer to USB A MALE. The
seconds is the OTG Cable with USB A female to Type

Re: Radioddity Updates

Paul, thanks for responding. What brand of OTG did you use and specifically what cable did you use to run from the adapter to the X6100?

Re: Radioddity Updates

Try adding a On The Go (OTG) adapter in the output of your computer. You go
from USB-C to USB-A on the OTG. Cured my X6100 interface problems.

Radioddity Updates

My X6100 came with *Mar 7, 2023* APP V1.1.6 and BASE V1.1.6. Currently, Radioddity has *2024-09-23* APP V1.1.9 and BASE V1.1.8 available for download. I'm thinking about loading these. Are there any

Re: X6100 firmware/R1CBU
Tnx Franco.
I figured it might be the out of date Xiegu firmware at issue but I thought I'd pass it around the group for their/your input.
Thanks,

Re: X6100 firmware/R1CBU
Band plan is for navigation mostly. It doesn't forbid transmitting outside defined bands.

Re: X6100 firmware/R1CBU
I am not home but doesn't.28 make use of a configurable band plan that you can set permitted tx frequencies through the webserver?

Re: X6100 firmware/R1CBU
Bob,
version 1.1.4 from February 2022 is more than three years old and Xiegu made many changes to it (both in the GUI application and in the baseband firmware) that I am not at all surprised it

X6100 firmware/R1CBU
I posted this topic in the R1CBU group but not much going on there so I thought I'd throw it out here to see if were any thoughts on it.
I have a 6100 (unit 1) using the R1CBU v.28 firmware with

Re: X6100 BASE firmware with compressor/noise gate
Thank you. I guess it might be due to high mic gain "moves" EMI from gate
branch to compressor branch of the transfer curve - and it became amplified
stronger, that without compression. I did some

Re: X6100 BASE firmware with compressor/noise gate
All seems well with this 1.1.6 base modification. The only thing i noticed is that i have to turn my mic gain down for it to not feedback or make strange sounds (over driven?). I use to run mic gain

Re: No-code styles customization for R1CBU/R2RFE firmware
Here¡¯s a simple flat gray theme i made with Franco¡¯s new styles feature. Just place the attached styles_custom.txt in your DATA partition of SD card and restart the GUI to activate it.

Re: Color modified v0.29.2 x6100_gui and sdcard.img
I've released a new sdcard.img with a new theme and Franco's no-code style customization ( /g/xiegu-x6100/topic/no_code_styles_customization/112171234 ) was added as well. It's

Re: X6100 BASE firmware with compressor/noise gate
1.1.6 with compressor, increased 3 times FM modulation depth and 160 Hz low frequency filter.
Also, I created a branch for patching 1.1.6 in repo above.
I did only quick testing - looks like all

Re: X6100 BASE firmware with compressor/noise gate
Ah, bummer. 1.1.6 with your FM, 160, and Comp additions would be awesome also, but i understand if it can¡¯t be done or is too time consuming with all the other things you have going on. I just live

Re: X6100 BASE firmware with compressor/noise gate
Changing AGC threshold on 1.1.8 is affecting NR effect. I'm not sure about simple way to move 1.1.6 NR logic to 1.1.8
