Here's a link to report problems and bugs on the X6100.
?

?
and a quick video refering the above mentioned link
?

?
Ideally reports should be done one (one single report) for each problem/bug found.
?
You can search the group messages for info like "report" and you'll find older messages refering this.

R1CBU firmware 0.25.0

Hi.

Actual release available on the on GitHub.
Feedback is appreciated.
Remember to copy files from DATA partition before flashing to save all parameters, logs, messages, etc. After flashing and first boot - copy these files back to DATA.

Re: Xiegu X6100 hardware support - Spare components

Forgot to mention.... Bought my X6100 used from eBay (only way to afford a radio).
Work fine for one, year but now have receive issues. Need to replace components but, since I don't know where was this radio purchased originally from, I can't request support from a distributor.

Re: ALC still missing in firmware 1.1.9

Joao,
I noted that the X6100 responds to address 70 as well as A4.

Xiegu X6100 hardware support - Spare components

May I ask, which address do you guys use to report problems or software issues?
Have written directly to Xiegu for a hardware problem (need to replace SMD failed components) and have never received a response. Support is nil, zero, nada.
I may be writing to the wrong address (the one on Xiegu's web page customer@...; tech-supp@...).
Tks.

Re: ALC still missing in firmware 1.1.9

I had noticed the same. 120 is allways the response. I'll take a look tomorrow and see, on an older FW, if the response is the same.
?
CAT implementation is not strong with Xiegu... This week I reported to Xiegu that their read RIT and read XIT commands are broken. They said, on FW 1.1.6 that this was implemented:

3. Add CI-V instruction:?
? ?21 00
? ?21 01
? ?21 02
? ?See IC-705 CI-V Command Table
?
Well... it's not. 21 00 works. 21 01 and 21 02 don't.
And they also refer explicitly the IC-705. In a way I think it's nice that they are trying to make it as compatible as possible with the IC-705. But it's a step too far when they even use the same transceiver CI-V bus ID (A4) that the 705 uses.

Re: ALC still missing in firmware 1.1.9

Well, I checked and neither flrig or wfview shows any ALC action. It just shows 100%. A CAT test program shows it always returns 120 for the ALC. So bottom line, there is no longer any ALC being provided by the UI.

Re: ALC still missing in firmware 1.1.9

Edited

If you want a single, isolated, CAT command, you can use something like CI-V Scout, available here
?
?
or something like Send-CIVCommand, available here
?
?
Command to read ALC (send this command to the radio) is
?
FE FE A4 E0 15 13 FD
?
reply should be something like
?
FE FE E0 A4 15 13 01 20 FD
?
Reply bytes, in bold, represent the ALC level in BCD.

Thanks Gary.? I rely on ALC to calibrate my TX quality.? I’ll check FLrig…

Tony,

Although not ideal, you could poll the radio with CAT commands to display ALC. I think Flrig will do it.?

ALC still missing in firmware 1.1.9

I've installed 1.1.9/1.1.8.? I still don't see ALC during TX.? Anyone find a work around for this?

Re: Volume knob not working

Same problem.? The plastic knob had slid toward the radio body so much that the in-out function of the knob did not work.? I'm going to put something inside the plastic knob that keeps it from sliding in again.

Re: Patched BASE firmware with changed TX audio filter low cutoff frequency #firmware

I'm stuck a bit on a GUI application, have not disassemble 1.1.8 yet. I'm going to do it after fixing some application issues.

Any chance you can patch 1.1.8?

I know both issues.
Seems, I fixed 2nd, but I need to check.
I guess I know a reason for 1st, will limit count of rows in table, also will check.

Application writes completed QSOs to ft_log.adi file on the DATA partition of SD card.
You can import it to your desktop logging app or to online log.
