Hello, thanks for your thoughts. It was just the solder joints that came loose ¡ª the socket is intact. What had me worried was that resistor. Now I¡¯ll try it with a 1k ohm and see how it goes.

I accidentally dropped the device while an external speaker was connected, and the speaker jack broke. Along with the jack, a capacitor and what I believe is an SMD resistor behind it also got damaged. One component is completely broken. Is there anyone who can help identify its value? I¡¯ll share a picture for reference.
I did exactly the same to mine but didn¡¯t manage to break the resistor but I did manage to break the socket and some of the track. If you need a replacement the eBay link below is an almost exact match.

I didn't have problems before, and I don't think I've ever changed the app or base... My APP is 1.1.8 ¡ª and my BASE is 1.1.7 ...
?
And suddenly my receive is almost nonexistent UNLESS I put the ATT on and I turn up RF Gain to 100. At that point I can hear signals again, but they aren't as strong as they used to be at all. This is TERRIBLE.

Can anybody help me? Has anyone seen this before? I'm completely stumped by this.

I was wondering if anyone else in this group will be at the Dayton Hamvention next week.

If anyone is interested, we could get together to talk all things X6100 for half an hour Friday or Saturday - perhaps somewhere near the Radioddity booth.

I added some controls for compressor (threshold, makeup gain offset), also - control of output signal level. Hope last will solve issue with no output power (actually - very low output power), but only with using R1CBU. I'm adding all this things to R1CBU. Adaptive notch filter also works well. Current algorithm uses gradient descent to determine frequency to suppress.
Regarding pseudo stereo output - I guess this achieved with some kind of reverberation, or, at least - with stereo echo. But it might be impossible to do it within X6100, if it uses mono output. I mean that we need to have a 2 separated channels from audio codec to headphones output.
How¡¯s the work going on releasing the patched version of base??
I recently browsed the code in your x6100_base_path repo and was wondering if there might be a way to play around with processing the output audio there? I used to have an Elecraft KX3, which had a DSP option called AFX (audio effects) ¨C it created a spatial illusion, introducing a sort of pseudo-stereo effect to the monophonic signal. I¡¯m not exactly sure how that effect was achieved: whether it simply reversed the phase of the audio signal in the right and left channels, or perhaps introduced slight delays between both channels¡ anyway, I liked this effect very much. In my opinion it was improving rx reception somehow.
When I get some free time, I¡¯ll try to tinker with your changes in the base firmware repo.
Good luck with development ¨C we¡¯re all waiting for the new binaries!?

I'm noticing when I transmit, either with Winlink or JS8Call, it's flipping over from A, where I am on the right frequency, to B which is definitely not. I've checked out multiple videos and articles on getting things setup and things look fine. I'm hoping someone might know what I have mis-configured. One reference I found said to make sure XIT/RIT are both set to 0, which they are.?
In my experience, sometimes the UI board boots up, but the radio board doesn't. When you turn on the radio, press and hold the power button for a long second. You will usually hear 2 clicks as both boards start up.

Hi All

Just got one today. Have run into an immediate no receive issue. Have tried multiple antennas with no success. I haven't attempted Tx. Is there a thread on here about trouble shooting this? I don't have test equipment. Have included a pic of the installed firmware version.
