Re: Xiegu X6100 Firmware Update v1.1.9 (2024-09-15)
For now just run App at 1.1.9 and base at 1.1.6.
?
?
And you can also keep a few BASEs FW available so that you can switch for testing/usage. Switching requires 30 seconds, maybe less.
?
?
At this point in time, Xiegu clearly focused on solving the NO TX problem for some hardware, that they created with the previous FW. This seems to be fixed.
Lets all work to report what's broken on this latest version. That is the best way to move forward.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI can confirm this report .
After some hours let running only FT8 receiving ... the scope
is getting slower and slower til it is complete frozen after some hours
.
?
And Georgy , I have measured with calibrated generator :
The S-meter is not correct : really ¨C73 dBm( S-9) is showing only S-7 and
sometimes
if switching ATT to ON the S-meter shows more and switching Preamp.ON
...
shows lower values ...

Re: Xiegu X6100 Firmware Update v1.1.9 (2024-09-15)
Joao, thanks. I had just figured it out and got it working myself when I got your message. My problem was the USB connection now brings up 2 com ports instead of one. Besides the new A4 address, I had to use the second one. Works fine now, problem solved.

Jens (HB9JOI) and Scot (M0RWV), amazing stuff listing everything that isn't working. If you haven't, I suggest you guys also report this to Xiegu via Radioditty.
Here's a link to report problems and bugs on the X6100.

and a quick video refering the above mentioned link

Ideally reports should be done one (one single report) for each problem/bug found.
I've used this link before and some of the reported items were corrected.

Re: Xiegu X6100 Firmware Update v1.1.9 (2024-09-15)
Jim, please try this thread, where I posted a print of a N3FJP working config.
?
?
Try ICOM2, use A4 on both commands and change your Power Option to None.
?
Rig Name = Icom2
Read Frequency Command = FE FE A4 E0 03 FD Read Mode Command = FE FE A4 E0 04 FD
Baud Rate = 19200 Parity = None Stop Bits = 1 Data Bits = 8 Power Option = None ?
Let me know if you need further help as I have tested N3FJP with 1.1.8 and it worked fine. I can test it with 1.1.9 if necessary.

Re: MIC buttons non-functional
The Icom Mic has exactly the same outside case but totally different electronics inside. On Sun, 22 Sept 2024, 10:27 pm John Brent - VA3HQB via , <john.brent=[email protected]> wrote:

Janos, This is the setup I used with N3FJP's AC Log for V 1.1.16:
In both the Read Frequency and Read Mode commands, the hex 70 is the rig's Identification number.
