Even released versions have bugs.? If it works for you, great.? If not revert back.??

Re: X6100 release of v1.17, adding support for wfview

Hi i now have tested v1.17 with wsjtx and yes CAT does work with my radio but i did want to use it with Ham Radio Deluxe for pc ,and pocket rxtx for Android?
so if any new firmware updates come out, i suppose this new cat control will be the same
Dave?

Thanks to all who have contributed.? I have a much better understanding of the issues involved here now.

Basically I will avoid using the KC33 and stick to a 12v PSU I also have (although the noise benefits of the KX33 will be missed).

I have certainly noticed high heat levels - particularly when using the high duty-cycle modes like FT4 and FT8.? I have a fan available which is keeping this under control.

Thanks again.

Re: X6100 release of v1.17, adding support for wfview

Are you using the new 1.17 firmware on a older x6100?

Just checking before I flash mine.
I need USB to work with cat for digital modes as well a WFview?
Thanks?

Tell your wfview software that you are using an IC-7100

Hi!

I dont see anywhere that this firmware is recommended for flashing. So mines ahead, and its your own explosion when its happening.

Dont blame ziegu here.

I have a 3-month-old model and when I flashed to 1.7 my cat control no longer worked with ft8 on wsjtx. I kept getting rig connection errors. Reflashed to 1.6 and radio & cat is back to normal. Boy ziegu really came out with a loser firmware this time.

Re: ALC 100 and NO TX output (AFT5M31N) LDMOS

Ok thanks,
Like I said
My radio is over a year old,
I use ham radio deluxe set to ic7000, and Prxtx with android phone and tablet working with v1.16 but not v1.17
I hope they have a fix soon as I do like the look of wfview,
Thanks Dave?
