Hi. I created an issue about it - https://github.com/gdyuldin/x6100_gui/issues/39 Not sure about the next release, I'll try. 73! -- Georgy // R2RFE

New Band "8 Meter" addition to code
Hi, Regarding : R1CBU firmware 0.27.0 ( /g/xiegu-x6100/topic/r1cbu_firmware_0_27_0/109354112 ) It would be great to have the New band "8 Meter" also available in the code for FT8
Re: What power level do I dare use for SSTV
I burned out the finals on my first 6200 doing 10w on ft8. I would not try 10w. 5w is not going to make a major difference.

Re: Heat sinks do work.
Reduce your input voltage to 10V. You will still get 10W out but lower the heat.

CAT Strings to set up EasyPal?
EasyPal doesn't have a config for the x6100, but people say generally use the IC-718 rig. That almost works. ?it will initiate PTT, the radio responds. but after about 10 seconds the radio drops PTT,

it seems to be only 20 and 40m, 40m and 20m bands are divided regarding their `CW only` and `SSB` parts into entirely separate but continuous bands named: 40m CW, 40m SSB and 20m CW, 20m SSB- ?i

Right now red color using for center line to indicate active recording. I'll think about how to make it more visible.

Looks like it's a bug in firmware. I created an issue - will fix in the next release. -- Georgy // R2RFE

Thanks for mentioning about the center line. I agree, a color would be nice. ?73, Steve

Robert, I presume what you are talking about. 40m and 20m bands are divided regarding their `CW only` and `SSB` parts into entirely separate but continuous bands named: 40m CW, 40m SSB and 20m CW, 20m

Hi Georgy , A small note from me regarding Spectrum-Scope: the center marker should be a bit more contrasting, more visible. Maybe in a different color...? 73/76 Jens ¨C HB9JOI +++ Sent:

Re: Full Install ( not just running from an SDCard)
Some of the features (like base firmware update) is not implemented on the alternative firmware. In case of just replacing original MAIN firmware we will loose these features. -- Georgy // R2RFE

I'm not sure, that I'm understand your idea correctly. Right now application has predefined bands (low, high bounds, name and default modulation). These values stored in the DB, but application have

I added wfserver as an idea to GitHub discussions - https://github.com/gdyuldin/x6100_gui/discussions/34 Not sure that it will be implemented in the next releases.

Great job with the new firmware Georgy, very impressive. Any thoughts about adding wfview server like the stock Xiegu firmware in the future releases? Personally I think this would complete the 6100
