I've got an older X6100. Confirmed that I've got 100% WSJT-X functionality using the IC7000 trick. Also verified WFView access via WiFi. Nifty.

I¡¯m not sure who¡¯s right on this point but I have been checking daily and the update still isn¡¯t posted on the Radiodity website.? This makes me wonder.? Keep in mind Xiegu¡¯s philosophy¡ we are their beta testers.? Whomever among us that jumps in right away will either enjoy the new features or run headlong into the new bugs¡ or both.
I don't understand your reply. If the firmware is on the ziegu site it's recommended for downloading.

I dont see anywhere that this firmware is recommended for flashing. So mines ahead, and its your own explosion when its happening.
Dont blame ziegu here.

Ok thanks, Like I said My radio is over a year old, I use ham radio deluxe set to ic7000, and Prxtx with android phone and tablet working with v1.16 but not v1.17 I hope they have a fix soon as I do like the look of wfview, Thanks Dave?

Would the i/o port allow an aftermarket? solution to be injected into transmissions or would the ctcss/pl tones get blocked by filtering, ect.?

I have working USB CAT Control with wsjtx and i have also tested flrig, with the 1.1.7 Update and wfview Server is running.
I have a newer x6100 from December last Year, maybe this is the difference.
The only Thing is that in wsjtx the dropdown Menu shows 5 seconds after a change OOB and the Frequency Window shows red and not the correct Frequency.
But it works and i can make QSO's and also change the Bands in the dropdownmenu.
In flrig it shows no Frequency but i can control the x6100.

Unfortunately if this broke CI-V over CAT, you could mention this as a bug and I also will directly tell to the people involved.
This is a first release where wfserver is included. The core OS below it is v1.1.6. and has not changed so there is no reason to believe that?
there has been a change regarding the OS itself. That os by the way is afail totally open source which means that if you are handy enough
you could evntually fix bt if someone already found out.

At least these parts are open source, you can build yourself, just like wfview. The only part that's closed is the UI and the references to the RF plane below it.
You can complain, go back. all is fine. You could easily have two UIs and select between the two via the commandline. asimple stop and start I surmise
is enouh to switch between 1.1.6's UI where supposedly CIV over USB works and the one that has wfserver. Small annoyance yes.? Maybe you even could
even have the R1CBU code switchable.? (fir the shits and giggles I will check and see if I can get this theory to work; maybe it also needs an OS restart but that?
doesn't affect (here) the RF plane. If you shut down the OS, you miss controls but the RF plane keeps working.?

I did some tests with the firmware of the x6100
I reflashed version 1.1.6 and my problem of alc100 no pwr came back on my side there is an incompatibility with version 1.1.6 very weird I reflashed version 1.1.7 and now my problem of alc100 with 0 pwr is solved now I have power on the air, this version has a CAT bug, it looks like we can't have everything hihi
