Sounds like par-for-the-course for Xiegu…after the GSOC fiasco and lackluster support of the G90, there is no way I was buying this radio out of the gate.
I received my X6100 yesterday.? Connected everything up and turned it on.? First obvious failure was that the vol/sql/rfg control did absolutely nothing.? There are several functions on the microphone that work on the G90 that do nothing on the X6100.? I saw nothing in the manual relating to Bluetooth/Wi-Fi.? The power supply that comes with it is for charging the battery ONLY.? I was ready to package it up and put it on the first UPS bus to HRO.? After connecting to a 13.8 vdc 20 amp power supply this morning, the volume works but the functions on the mic are still inop.? It is a great looking little radio.? I just wish it was fully operational.
