Re: R1CBU firmware 0.22.0

It's exciting to see updates! I've started poking at them this morning.

- I see your new version when it boots up (0.22.0) (/)
- The way the waterfall moves on band changes is very nice. (/)
- In CW mode, I see the new alignment tool. That seems like it'll be nice. (/)
- The long press to get to USB-D/LSB-D modes was a surprise, but intuitive. (/)
- BUG? In CW, the waterfall tuning line is lined up right on the signal, which is nice, but the spectrum on the top is shifted to the right of the line to show where the audio frequency really is. It seems intentional, but it makes the spectrum peaks not line up with the bottom waterfall. That took a moment to learn. Is it intentional?
- BUG: Long pressing the lock button used to successfully restart the UI. Now it restarts, audio comes back, controls work, but the spectrum and waterfall are frozen. I reproduced it twice easily. I had pressed the lock button to restart, because I wanted to see the version. That didn't show either.

I look forward to exploring the other new features, especially maybe around FT8, since it seems like it'll do logs now.

New:
* CW tuner - shows how accurately the radio is tuned to the correspondent's frequency. I had to slightly change the signal preprocessing for the CW decoder - now it works a little differently.
* Adjusting the bandwidth for filters with one knob. I did it for CW, but did not disable it for other modes. For CW - the center of the filter always equals to the key tone.
* Low and High filters in CW mode change synchronously (central frequency remain unchanged).
* Simple level indicator in the recorder.Perhaps, will restyle/rework it in the future.
* Time sync in FT8 application. When pressed, rounds the current time on the transceiver to the nearest FT8/FT4 slot. Usage - listen to the broadcast, find a section of silence, press the button - the system time will be updated. I guess it's simpler, than trying to adjust using settings.
* ADIF log for FT8. Call signs, reports, QTH are saved. Imported to hamlog.online, eqsl.cc,
* Noise reduction and Noise blanket can be assigned to f1/f2 headset buttons
* Battery icon. The charge level is calculated by voltage
* Charging icon
* Support reading transceiver ID via CAT. Should help solve the problem with some versions of Hamlib
* Display peaks on S-meter
?
Changed:
* FT8 app now uses USB-D. The sound from the microphone is not mixed into the transmission, and the transmission does not break down after using the ATU.
* The output power in the FT8 application match to the installed one. Looks like for internal signal sources the changing output power only works as a limiter (ALC threshold adjustment).
* Auto level for waterfall/spectrum is disabled during transmission. Fixed values ??are used during transmission. After the transmission is completed, the auto level is used again.
* The buttons on the left (GEN, APP, etc.) ¡°scroll through¡± the corresponding button blocks of buttons below.
* Recording and playback levels in settings app are now in decibel s (default 0, range from -10 to +10).
* Switching to digital modes and back - by long pressing the SSB button. Short press for the LSB/USB or LSB-D/USB-D switch.
* In digital mode, the LSB-D/USB-D inscription changes color.
* Power meter, SWR and ALC smoothing is disabled in digital modes.

Fixed:
* Band "jump" if the transceiver is in the lower range and is tuned to the upper limit.
* Zooming spectrum doesn't affect levels.
* When changing band/A/B, the waterfall does not forget the data.
* Deleting a single entry/message now clears the table.
* Fixed some bugs with the FT8 application
* Freezes when using headset buttons (possibly my mistake, but now fixed)
* Minor stability and performance improvements
?
Also, I raised the recording level in the audio mixer that comes with SDR on linux and is used for recording, CW and FT8 decoding, etc. Initially the sound is very quiet - maybe this is a problem with my transceiver.
?
Update via patch - connect the card to the computer, and drop the tgz file into the DATA disk (for those with Linux - into the root of the DATA partition).
The transceiver will update the files on first boot.
